Rachel Kathryn O’Malley, PharmD, RPh, is a 2020 graduate of the University of Findlay and is currently the Pharmacy Fellow at the University of Findlay College of Pharmacy Telehealth Center. During her first year of the Telehealth Center fellowship, she works as one of the full-time onsite pharmacists. Rachel has continued to oversight multiple Telehealth Center services such as Transitions of Care, Medication Therapy Management, Chronic Care Management, Comprehensive Primary Care, Remote Order Entry, Long Term Care, Mail Order Pharmacy, Targeted Clinical Interventions, Remote Patient Monitoring for Congestive Heart Failure patients, and COVID-19 Contact Tracing. Rachel has assisted with the mentoring and precepting of IPPE students, written and implemented standard operating procedures, and contributed to research. Rachel is currently working on a quality assurance research project with Dr. Isis Stead for the University of Findlay Telehealth Center’s effectiveness of pharmacist led remote patient monitoring for congestive heart failure. Rachel has participated in Pharmacy Signing Day where she welcomed incoming pharmacy students and promoted the Telehealth Center services, as well as presented to P2 to P5 classes to recruit Telehealth Center interns.
